The independent, fun-loving Sealyham makes an excellent urban companion. Although comfortable with gentle children over eight years old, they won't tolerate rough handling.

Sealyhams are naturally cautious with strangers. They can be aggressive with other animals if not socialized early and require early obedience training with owners who are able to maintain dominance.

Appearance
The Sealyham's weather-resistant coat is firm and wiry on top and soft and dense underneath. The dogs are all white or white with lemon, tan, or badger markings on the head and ears.
