Mi-kis share common ancestors with the Papillion, Maltese and Japanese Chin. These dogs are friendly, alert and make excellent companions. They possess a high degree of intelligence and have an even temperament which makes them ideal therapy dogs. They love children. They are excellent for apartment living and can be trained to a litter box. They also enjoy going for walks outside. The coat comes in various colors and 2 types, long coat and short coat. They shed little to no hair. Groom once a week with a wire comb.

Weight: 5-8 lb./2-4 kg.

DNA is done through the UKC on our adults and puppies. Each of our Mi-Kis, adults and puppies, are taken to the University of Tennessee to be evaluated/checked by specialists in their fields. We will not breed an individual Mi-Ki if they do not pass all the health exams. Heart checked by an Cardiologist at the University of Tennessee Eyes checked by an Ophthalmologist at the University of Tennessee *Patella's are checked and graded by our local vet .
