Cane Corso
|
The Cane Corso is a descendent of the ancient Roman war dog or "Canis Pugnax". The breed was primarily used for large game and employed as an "auxiliary warrior". This breed has been depicted in various forms of Roman art over the years, both as warrior and as personal attendant. The Cane Corso is a sturdy dog. It seems that the breed vary's in it's appearance. Photo courtesy of Stormy Winns Cane Corsos |
